Make the small screen work for you
A phone is useful for capturing a task, checking what needs attention, or updating work you just finished. It is less comfortable for reading a long project specification. Keep a card’s title specific and put the key next step near the beginning of its description.
Lanelet’s mobile board scrolls horizontally, so each column has room for readable cards. Swipe across the board to move between To do, In progress, and Done. Your team and board selectors remain accessible above the work.
How do I move a task on mobile?
Open the task, change its Column field, and save. You can also drag a card using its grip handle. The handle keeps normal touches on the board available for scrolling and opening cards.
The task editor lets you change ownership, priority, and due date without navigating to another screen. Use a specific due date only when it helps you decide what to do next.
Find a smaller view of the work
Use My tasks to see cards assigned to you. Search by words in the title or description when you are looking for one task. High priority narrows the board to work your team marked as urgent.
Filtered boards disable dragging so hidden cards do not make the ordering confusing. You can still open a task and choose its column. Clear the filters when you want to arrange the full board again.
Does Lanelet work offline?
The shared app needs an internet connection to load and save team work. It does not promise offline synchronization. The public demo stores changes on the current browser, but it is separate from your team account.
If a save fails, Lanelet shows an error. Wait for confirmation before assuming your teammates can see the change. Shared boards refresh periodically while you are viewing them.
