Privacy policy

Your work stays your business.

Updated 9 October 2026.

Lanelet is a free workspace for teams, operated by TrueState Pty Ltd. We use your information to run that workspace, keep it secure, and deliver the updates you choose. We do not sell your personal information or use your workspace content for advertising.

What we collect, and why

Only add information you are entitled to share with your team. You can explore the demo without creating an account; signing in requires an email address.

Who can see your work

Workspace content is shared with teammates according to membership and access settings. Members can see team members’ names and email addresses. People operating the service and its infrastructure may need access to investigate problems, provide support or maintain security. Workspace content is not end-to-end encrypted.

AI assistants and other connections are your choice

Lanelet does not require an AI connection. If you connect an assistant or another app, it can access data permitted by that connection. Configured webhooks send event data to the destination your team chooses. Those services handle received data under their own policies, including any AI training or retention settings. Review those policies before connecting an app or sharing sensitive work.

You can revoke your tokens and connected-app access in Settings. Revoking access stops future access through that connection; it does not erase copies already received by another service.

The services that help us run Lanelet

Supabase provides the database and authentication. Vercel hosts the app and provides public-page analytics. Where configured, SendGrid delivers emails and Cloudflare handles DNS, traffic delivery and security. Email delivery can include your address, invitation details and task or event titles.

These providers process information to perform their functions. Information may be processed outside your country, depending on the hosting region and provider. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to address abuse or protect the service and its users.

Cookies, browser storage and analytics

Sign-in cookies keep you logged in. Browser storage remembers your theme and saves demo work on your device. You can clear these through your browser; doing so may sign you out or remove your saved demo work.

We use cookie-free Vercel Web Analytics on marketing, guide, journal and legal pages to understand visits. We exclude workspace, demo, sign-in, invitation and connection pages, strip query strings and URL fragments from analytics page URLs, and do not send workspace content as analytics events. Lanelet does not use advertising trackers. See Vercel’s analytics privacy details.

How long information stays

We keep account and workspace information while it is needed to provide the service. Deleted tasks stay in the bin for 30 days before scheduled maintenance removes them from the live database. Other deletions, such as notes, sheets and whiteboards, do not have that recovery period. Deleting a CRM deal can leave its activity history behind.

Scheduled maintenance removes in-app notifications after 90 days and email and webhook queue records after 30 days, measured from their last delivery, cancellation or creation as applicable. Expired invitations are removed after a further 30 days. These cleanups depend on maintenance running successfully. Backups and provider logs can have separate retention periods, so deletion from the app does not mean every copy disappears immediately.

Your choices and requests

In Settings, you can choose notification emails, review connections and manage account security. You can edit or delete workspace content where your permissions allow. Essential sign-in and security messages are separate from optional notifications.

For a copy or correction of your personal information, account deletion, or a privacy complaint, contact TrueState Pty Ltd at support@lanelet.com. Account deletion currently requires our assistance. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and will explain any information that must be retained for security, legal reasons or other team members’ shared work. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its date when our practices change. Material changes to how we handle personal information will be brought to your attention through the service or by email.
